SPOKANE, Wash.—Wednesday marked a transition into cooler weather for the region.
So far 2017 has had a colder and snowier winter than normal. Spring was wetter than usual. Summer was drier than normal and hot.
The hot and dry weather is about to change.
Highs in the 80’s and 90’s are long gone as we fall temperatures sneak in.
In the 10 day forecast shows temperatures returning to normal.
Temperatures are expected to max out in the 70’s for the last week of summer.
The region will have sunshine for the first half of Wednesday.
Spokane is going on 78 days with no rain, but that could all change.
Thursday temperatures will be cooler with a chance of rain.
The first day of fall 2017 is Friday September 22.
