Vehicle flip causes lane closure on EB I-90 near Pines Rd

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — Washington State Patrol troopers are investigating a vehicle crash that caused a major highway lane to be blocked off Saturday morning.

On Saturday at 11:17 A.M., Washington State Patrol Officers responded to reports of a vehicle that flipped over in the middle of highway I-90 EB at the intersection of I-90 and Pines Road said WSP dispatchers. There was only one vehicle involved in the accident and there were no injuries reported.  The vehicle is still getting removed from the lane just past the overpass by the Pine Road exit.

WSP officials said they are continuing investigation into what caused the crash at the I-90 and Pines intersection and drivers should expect a slight delay. Spokane Area Traffic said in a tweet that the lane will be blocked off from 11:17 A.M. to 1:15 P.M. Saturday.
