Zags dancing on to the Sweet 16 after win against Ohio State

The Gonzaga men's basketball team moves on to the Sweet 16 after beating Ohio State 90 to 84 on Saturday.

BOISE, Idaho -- The Gonzaga men's basketball team is dancing to the Sweet 16 after trumping the Ohio State University Buckeyes 90-84 on Saturday.

The Zags will play Florid State in the Sweet Sixteen on Thursday, Mar. 22 at 7 p.m. at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

The Zags were led by Zach Norvell Jr.'s 28 points and Rui Hachimura added another 25.

The Bulldogs took an early lead in the first half and bounced back after briefly falling behind in the second.

The Buckeyes (25-9) rallied from an 11-point halftime deficit to take a brief second-half lead before Gonzaga came out on top after an 11-0 run, according to the AP.

Gonzaga scored the first 15 points of the game while hitting six of nine shots and blocking two of Ohio State's. The Buckeyes did not score until Jae'Sean Tate hit a 3-pointer at 14:18.
