PORTLAND, Ore. – The Gonzaga bulldogs took third place in the PK80 Invitational. The preseason tournament was a chance for the players and coaches to learn more about each other, on and off the hardwood.
No. 17 Gonzaga beat Texas 76-71 Sunday morning in overtime in a consolation game. After the game Head Coach Mark Few and some players, including Josh Perkins and Corey Kispert, headed to a press conference. That is where things became interesting.
At the press conference we learned a little bit more about Perkin’s antics off the court. Few said in 28 years in the coaching business he had never seen a player show up to breakfast in a leopard print robe. Perkins did just that at the team’s hotel.

What did Mark Few experience for the first time in 28 years at Gonzaga?
We even got some photographic evidence courtesy of Kispert.

We also learned that Josh Perkins is selfless on the court and as a roommate. Kispert said Perkins lets him handle remote control duties when it comes to the guys' television.
Perk is also a robe guy. Classic.— Evan Closky (@KREMEvan) November 26, 2017
