ESSEXVILLE, Mich.—The Essexville Public Safety Department had a busy morning Wednesday keeping a city park free of trash and Dementors.
The Essexville Public Safety Department posted to their Facebook saying they received a call from a concerned citizen who reported they saw a Dementor in Smith Park.
"A Dementor is a gliding, wraith-like dark creature, widely considered to be one of the foulest to inhabit the world," according to Harry Potter fan pages. And by the world we mean the magical world of Happy Potter.
“This is particularly concerning since everyone knows muggles can’t see Dementors and because our only officer able to perform the Patronus charm is off duty,” said the post.
After further investigation the department found out that what looked like a Dementor to a concerned citizen was trash.
“The Ministry of Magic assures us that all Dementors are accounted for at Azkaban,” the post went on to explain.
The department asked that people help keep the city beautiful and help trash find its own place.
