SPOKANE, Wash. -- The intersection of Sprague and Division closed around 10:45 p.m. Sunday night due to a serious injury crash, Spokane Police confirmed.
SPD said the intersection was closed for just over six hours as investigators processed the scene.
SPD reported the intersection reopened Monday morning.
A white van carrying two adults and one child was traveling north on Division Street when a black SUV tore through the intersection and collided with the van, witnesses said. SPD said the SUV was driven by an adult female.

SPD said the four people injured in the collision are all in stable condition.
Reports said a Drug Recognition Expert and Crash Investigators from the Major Crimes Unit (MCU) were called to the scene to assist with the investigation because of the nature of the crash, injuries to the occupants, and the belief that drugs or alcohol may be involved.
Authorities said no charges have been filed at this time. Investigators will process evidence from the scene and blood that was drawn from the suspect.
Editor's Note: An earlier version of this story stated there were two children in the white van.
