POST FALLS, Idaho—A Post Falls juvenile was booked at a juvenile detention center for arson, possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia after confessing he started a string of brush fires.

Reports said Kootenai County Fire and Rescue and the Post Falls police department responded to a grass fire near 4th and Seltice Monday.

Officials said law enforcement identified and talked to all the people around the area of the grass fire to identify a suspect.

Reports said law enforcement found a juvenile at Ross Point and Pinevilla who could possibly be suspect.

Officers said they interviewed the juvenile who confessed to starting the fires and having marijuana and a pipe with him.

Reports said his parents were called and he was taken into custody for third degree arson, possession of marijuana, and marijuana paraphernalia.
