SPOKANE, Wash. – Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R – Wash.) plans to hold a town hall event to talk about the GOP overhaul of the tax code that is expected to pass this week.

The U.S. House of Representatives passed the bill Tuesday morning in a 227-203 vote, split mostly along party lines, with 12 Republicans joining Democrats in opposing the bill. News broke Tuesday afternoon that the House would have to re-vote on Wednesday after Democrats said three provisions in the legislation violate Senate rules.
