Lawmakers in Washington state are reacting to the FCC's decision to undo net neutrality rules.

Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers released a statement after the decision.

“I support an open Internet, but there is a better way to ensure consumer protections without disrupting the free flow of information and innovation that has made it a cornerstone of the 21st Century economy,” said McMorris Rodgers in her statement. "What I want is for everyone to come to the table to find a bipartisan, legislative solution that will protect consumers while not harming investment, innovation, and free-market principles.”

Before the decision, Senator Maria Cantwell tweeted in support of keeping net neutrality.

Representative Suzan DelBene reacted to the news, too. She says it's a loss for consumers, but the fight to keep it is not over.
