COLFAX, Wash. — Washington State patrol representatives said a Spokane woman intentionally caused a three-vehicle crash on State Route 195 in Whitman County Saturday night.
The patrol report said Rebecca Thomas, 21, intentionally crossed the center line, striking an oncoming Northbound vehicle, driven by Martin Alejos, 51, as well as the vehicle he was towing.
Representatives said driver Alejos, from Spokane Valley, and passenger Misael Samayo, 52, from Spokane were headed Northbound in their vehicle and attempted to make an evasive maneuver to the SR 195 shoulder to avoid a collision but were unsuccessful.
Charges for the collision are pending. Injuries were reported and Thomas was transported to Whitman Community Hospital.
