QUINCY, Wash --- The Monument Hill fire has destroyed two homes, multiple outbuildings, vehicles and farm implements as of Thursday evening.
As of Thursday evening, the fire has burned 5,000 acres and is 100 percent contained.
Level 3 evacuations were put in place Wednesday night near Adams Road and Road 13 in the Monument Hill area but those evacuation orders were downgraded to level 1 Thursday morning.
Fire managers called in two firefighting airplanes and two helicopters to help put out the flames. Officials said the Grant County PUD worked on Road 13 replacing multiple burned down power poles and power continues to be out in many areas.
Road 13 was still closed Thursday evening east of Adams Rd.
No injuries have been reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
