PULLMAN, Wash. — An 18-year-old student at Washington State University is reported to be in critical condition after a fall from a second story window Thursday morning.

UPDATE at 4:30 p.m. August 25: WSU officials confirmed the student's condition has not changed. They have not released his identity or said officially how he fell out of the window.

WSU Police said the student was originally transported to Pullman Regional Hospital and later flown to a hospital in Spokane.

The victim suffered facial injuries resulting from the fall.

WSU police said they think the student was leaning against the window of Duncan Dunn Hall before he fell.
