SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash.— Washington State Patrol representatives said a Southbound vehicle on State Route 27 in Spokane Valley struck a driveway embankment and became airborne Saturday night.

The vehicle's occupants were Tyson Conley, 22, from Cheney and Courtney Johnson, 19, from Spokane Valley. The patrol report troopers said the vehicle, driven by Conley, left the road to the west, striking the embankment. After being airborne, the vehicle landed on its wheels with the airbags deployed.

Both occupants of the vehicle were transported by ambulance to the hospital.

Washington State Troopers said the collision occurred from a lack of attention to the road.
