SPOKANE, Wash. -- As the countdown continues to Christmas, many of you are looking to the sky wondering when all of our December snow will start blanketing the ground.
Based solely on historical averages, Spokane has about a 57 percent probability of having snow on the ground for the holiday. The next 10 to 14 days are showing below average chances for precipitation and warmer than average temperatures.
With more than two weeks until the holiday, that is making us a little nervous that we will see snow on the ground this Christmas. With high pressure in place, our odds of snow, at least over the next two weeks, are not great.
