SPOKANE, Wash. – Thousands of people gathered downtown for the Spokane Women’s Persistence March.

Those who marched in Spokane joined the thousands of people who participated in rallies and marches across the country over the weekend.

Participants gathered at the Red Wagon in Riverfront Park to chant and listen to speakers before taking off.

The march started at about 1:00 p.m. and ended at the Spokane Convention Center.
