SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. --- Washington State Patrol is investigating an explosive device found in Spokane Valley Monday evening.
Officials said someone reported finding some sort of suspicious device on the west-bound I-90 on-ramp near Pines.
The Explosive Disposal Unit was called in and confirmed they did find a piece of a pipe.
Authorities said it had the potential of being exploded, but are not calling it a pipe-bomb.
Crews are now investigating the exact contents of the item and where it might have come from.
