SPOKANE, Wash --- The Spokane Symphony played their Labor Day concert despite the smoke in the air.
The air quality was dipping but concert goers and musicians alike braved the smoke for this annual concert.
Crowds were not as big as normal with only about half of the normal 10,000 people making an appearance.
The concert was also shortened to an hour because of concerns about the exposure to the smoky air. A spokesperson said the musicians were given an option not to play tonight because of the air.
