SPOKANE, Wash. -- A Spokane woman is devastated after she said someone drove up her driveway and stole her toy yorkie.

Zhanna McIntosh said her toy yorkie Cookie is like a child to her.

McIntosh said the family believes Cookie was taken from her property Wednesday night just after 11:00 p.m. She said she heard a car coming up her long drive way on her property near Highway 27 and 46th Avenue, which borders Spokane and Spokane Valley.

McIntosh said her Doberman Stella and Cookie ran outside to check out the noise. She said she heard them barking for short time. A few minutes later Stella came back through the doggy door, but Cookie did not.

"It was like a nightmare, this is just a bad dream,” said McIntosh. "She always coming back home. She's always coming back home especially at night."

The family searched their entire property and surrounding area, but still there was no sign of Cookie. They think she was taken by whoever was in that mysterious car in their driveway.

Cookie's absence has left McIntosh and her family devastated. The family is now offering a $1,000 reward to anyone who can help bring their dog home.
