SPOKANE, Wash.— It was a busy few weeks for a Spokane Valley Deputy and his K9 partner.
Officials with the Spokane County Sheriff’s office said deputy Clay Hilton and K9 Bane have captured two suspects over the last few weeks.
SCSO reported one suspect fled a domestic violence call and was found hiding from law enforcement in some bushes earlier this month.
Law enforcement said the other suspect ran on foot from the scene of a vehicle pursuit.
SCSO officials said the two incidents highlighted how effective and versatile K9s are at locating fleeing suspects and keeping their community and deputies safe.
