SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. – Spokane Valley deputies responded to a reported stabbing in the 1011 block of E. 15th near Dartmouth Road Sunday at about 6 p.m.

The Spokane Valley Police Department said the suspect, Raymond Pfluger, 35, ran away after the incident.

Police said Pfluger was a friend of the victim, had stolen some of her property and reportedly stated he was “high” on LSD.

The victim survived, and had a wound to her neck that was not life threatening, officials said.

Officials said Pfluger and the victim had argued about him stealing her items when he grabbed her by the throat and she realized she had been stabbed.

The suspect apparently ran away and as he ran, took off all of his clothes.

Pfluger faces first degree assault charges, and is still on the run.
