SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. --- Deputies arrested a driver Thursday morning after she ran off the road, hit a curb, tree, retaining wall and a parked car.
Spokane County Sheriff’s Office said the 29-year-old driver was heading northbound on Country Homes Boulevard at about 8 a.m. when witnesses reported her driving at a high rate of speed and recklessly.
Near the 7200 block of N. Country Homes Blvd, the driver reportedly lost control, hit a curb, flipped and hit a tree, and a parked car.
The driver was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. SCSO called in a drug recognition expert and was issued a warrant to perform a blood draw. Officials said the driver was charged at the hospital with DUI, driving on a suspended license and reckless driving.
