SPOKANE, Wash. – While people are enjoying the new ice ribbon in Riverfront Park in the cold temperatures, many are wondering what it will be used for in the summer.

City officials said they have no plans of stopping the fun on the ribbon. In the warmer months, the ice ribbon will be transformed to hold a lot of different activities like strider biking, art walks, food truck rallies and roller skating.

Right now, they do not have the pricing down, but they expect to allow people to rent skates for roller skating and blading like they do for ice skates.
