SPOKANE, Wash. — The National Parks Service is celebrating 101 years by offering free entrance to National Parks Friday.

According to the National Parks Service website, all NPS sites that charge an entrance fee will offer free admission on August 25.

This includes parks in Washington state.

Cooler temperatures are leading into beautiful 80 degree weather Friday, making it a great day to head to a National Park.

Washington State Parks reports three more State Park free days are available in 2017:

  • Sept. 30 — National Public Lands Day
  • Nov. 11— Veterans Day
  • Nov. 24— Autumn free day
