OTIS ORCHARDS, Wash. – Spokane Valley deputies have located a man who they believe stabbed his own uncle.

It happened near the intersection of East Wellesley Avenue and North Genoa Road Thursday morning.

Officials said the suspect’s uncle was stabbed in the torso and arm. The man was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

After a few hours of searching, authorities said a K9 tracked the 25-year-old suspect to a field behind St. Joseph's church. Deputies said he was located just a quarter mile from where the stabbing took place. The suspect was then placed under arrest.
