SPOKANE, Wash. – Two Spokane restaurants made Food & Wine’s list of America's favorite brunch spots.

The Davenport Signature Buffet and Italia Trattoria both made the list, which was created based on reviews from Open Table users.

Hint: Mother’s Day is apparently the busiest brunch day of the year. If you are looking for plans, maybe try one of the top local spots? Just a thought.

Open Table calls the Davenport’s brunch “Spokane’s most acclaimed brunch.” The Sunday brunch is held in one the historic hotel’s legendary ballrooms and features a culinary fare of seafood, carved meats, house-made desserts and a chocolate fountain.

Italia Trattoria in Browne’s Addition was also named to the list. According to their Open Table page, the restaurant cooks with seasonal, local produce and top quality Italian products. Some of the brunch specials include an Italian frittata, omelette caprese, croque madame and Zeppole doughnuts.

Other restaurants in Washington that made the list include The Dining Room at the Salish Lodge and Spa in Snoqualmie and Seattle favorites, the Queen Mary Tea Rom and Salty’s on Alki Beach.
