SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane Police arrested three teenagers early Tuesday morning in connection to an armed carjacking near Northwest Boulevard and York Avenue.

SPD responded to the attempted carjacking around 12:30 a.m. after the victim reported at least three teenage males displayed a firearm and attempted to take his vehicle.

The victim escaped the scene uninjured as several police units responded to the scene.

A K9 tracked the suspects, who range in age from 14-17. The suspects were found in the yard of a nearby residence. The victim identified the teens as the subjects involved.

Police discovered a realistic looking replica firearm.

The three teens were booked on multiple charges, including attempted armed robbery and felony assault. SPD is investigating if this incident is related to a previous robbery incident involving similar circumstances.
