SPOKANE, Wash.— A local group combined a love for beer with their talents for a unique past time.
The Inland Northwest chapter of Beer Choir meets once a month at a local brewery or tap house to sing.
The Beer Choir started small in September, but has seen its numbers grow over the months.
Chapter leader, Max Mendez said there were a few requirements to be a member of Beer Choir.
“Beer choir is an organization that connects people who number one like to sing and number two like to drink a really great beer,” said Mendez.
All-in-all the requirements aren’t too hard to meet.
There are no membership dues, no commitments--organizers just ask that folks buy a pint or two to support local businesses, and have fun! pic.twitter.com/nUEcMauEd3— Rob Harris (@KREMRob) November 17, 2017
Members of Beer Choir said the group gives them a community to be with and do what they enjoy: drinking beer and singing.
As a college choir nerd, I would have been all over this senior year: the Inland Northwest Beer Choir. They meet once per month at a local brewery or tap house, sing, and drink beer. pic.twitter.com/B9wlkkARC2— Rob Harris (@KREMRob) November 17, 2017
