Richfield, Idaho - Injuries are being reported after a school bus was involved in a crash on U.S. 26, just west of Richfield Tuesday afternoon.

According to Idaho State Police, the school bus rolled over on the highway. Children were on board at time. At this point, there is no word on how many people are injured.

The Blaine County School District said in a news release that the bus was transporting Carey Junior High students to a track meet. Students with injuries are being taken to a hospital, and another bus is being sent to the scene to pick up students that are going back to school.  

District officials said they do not know the number or extent of injuries.

Both lanes of the highway are currently blocked.
