SPOKANE, Wash.—This year marks 26 years of the annual Pride parade for Spokane.
The parade begins Saturday, June 10 at noon in downtown.
Immediately following the parade is the rainbow festival. The festival will be at Riverfront park Lilac Meadows.
Saturday festivities will also feature an art show with pride related artwork for sale and an All Ages Dance Party. Pride Day will conclude with fireworks at 10 p.m.
This year also marks the first use of the giant pride flag.
According to the OutSpokane website, the LGBTQA communities in Spokane came together to purchase the giant flag to lead the pride parade.
