Pedestrian struck by car on S Perry Street sustains non-life threatening injuries

South Perry Street was blocked briefly at East 18th Avenue this morning while crews investigated.

SPOKANE, Wash. — A pedestrian was struck by a car at the intersection of Perry Street and East 18th Avenue Tuesday morning, according to Spokane Police officer John O'Brien. 

The pedestrian suffered non-life threatening injuries. 

Both the Spokane Police Department and the Spokane Fire Department responded to the crash. 

The street was closed for a short time while officers investigated. The road reopened around 9 a.m. Tuesday morning.
