SPOKANE, Wash --- “Food Truck Friday” is coming to Spokane from June to August, food trucks and stores will be taking over almost every Friday this summer.

Spokane is partnering with local businesses and food trucks to bring some fun to your weekend. From 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. people can come to Wall Street, between Spokane and Main Street for food and music.

Some of the confirmed participants are Mac Daddy’s Gourmet Grub, Couple of Chefs and Ben and Jerry’s. The festival street has room for five trucks at once, so if you want to space for your truck you need to reserve your space now. The plan is to do this every Friday through August except for the weekend of Hoopfest according to the Facebook page.

The City of Spokane wants to start this because food trucks are popular throughout the country, and they said the food trucks in Spokane are very good. They are expecting these lunch events to be well attended by locals.

This event space was made when the city renovated Wall Street last October. It was designed for quickly planning and holding events in the downtown area.
