LATAH CO., Idaho –Three people were injured in a one-vehicle crash near Moscow late Sunday night.

Idaho State Police said Denny A. Baldwin, 42, of Spokane Valley, was driving westbound on Sand Road at a high rate of speed. Upon approaching the intersection of Sand Road and West Sand Road, Baldwin failed to negotiate the left hand curve, slid off the road and struck a fallen tree.

Two passengers in the car, 34-year-old Brandon Hall and 23-year-old Chinnell Picker, both of Moscow, were transported along with Baldwin to area hospitals.

Authorities said Idaho State Police will investigate the crash.
