COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho --- The Coeur d’Alene Police Department is warning residents of a man and woman going door to door in Kootenai County claiming to represent Direct TV and Dish Network and asking questions about when residents will be home.
CDA PD said the couple is claiming to sell or upgrade residents’ cable services and asking questions about when the residents will be home.
Officials said they were not able to confirm the two work for either Dish or Direct TV.
"If someone comes to your home to sell something, ask to see their credentials including photo identification and never give out personal information to anyone you don’t know.,” CDA PD said in a release. “If the individual(s) seem suspicious, contact law enforcement immediately.”
