UPDATE: Post Falls Police Department and the Kootenai County Sheriff's Office identified the body found near Hayden Creek in Idaho on Tuesday as that of William "Bo" Kirk.

Kirk has been missing since Oct. 22.

Police said they are now investigating his death as a homicide and asked the public to share any surveillance videos they may have of the incident. Post Falls PD asked the public to submit any tips they may have as well.


POST FALLS, Idaho --- The Post Falls Police Department is holding a press conference regarding the disappearance of William “Bo” Kirk.

Kirk has been missing since Oct. 22. He was last seen at his workplace, Northwest Specialty Hospital. He was supposed to get home around 7:20 p.m. but never arrived.

An unidentified body was found Tuesday near Hayden Creek in Idaho.

Around 9:43 p.m. on Oct. 22, Timberlake Fire and Rescue responded to a vehicle on fire in the area of Rimrock Road on the north end of Kootenai County.

Emergency responders arrived on scene to find a pickup truck fully engulfed in flames. The pickup was registered to Kirk, and it was the same vehicle he had driven to work earlier that day. Kirk was not found at the scene.

Monday, Post Falls PD released a video of a person driving the pickup truck and using Kirk’s ATM card. PFPD asked for help to identify the driver.
