LEADORE, Idaho (AP) - Authorities say a high school teacher in Idaho has died after collapsing during a hike.

KIFI-TV reports that Lemhi County Sheriff's Office says Madison High School teacher Larry Prescott had difficulty breathing and then collapsed while hiking at Lemhi Range on Saturday.

Authorities say Brigham Young University-Idaho Student Thad Davis was with Prescott and hiked five hours to get cell service and call 911. A search was called off at 10:30 p.m. Saturday because of a snow storm, but crews found Prescott's body on Sunday morning.
