GSCO deputy and K-9 honored after saving life of man with Alzheimer’s

The man suffers from Alzheimer's and wandered away from his home in dangerously cold temperatures.

A Grant County Sheriff's deputy and his K-9 partner are getting honored for saving a life.

The Greater Inland Northwest chapter of the Red Cross recognized Deputy Dave De La Rosa and K-9 Grizzly for saving an elderly Ephrata man last month.

The man suffers from Alzheimer's and wandered away from his home in dangerously cold temperatures.

K-9 Grizzly and deputy De La Rosa found the man in a large hole near his home and he was hurt.
