MOSES LAKE, Wash. -- A man was arrested Saturday night after Moses Lake police said he broke into a house and fell asleep.

Officials said around 10:30 p.m. a resident in the Knolls Vista neighborhood heard his front door open. Then, the homeowner found Seth Estarda, 26, inside his house and called 911. Authorities said Estarda was extremely intoxicated and did not know where he was.

When police arrived on scene, they found Estarda sitting at the kitchen table and was passed out in a chair. Officers tried to wake him up but he was not cooperative.

Authorities said as he stood up to square off with one of the officers, he grabbed a baby bottle off the table in front of him. They said he ran away the officer and tried to get into one of the bedrooms in the house before he was restrained.

Police said Estrada was only able to tell officers that he was from Texas and he knew he should not go into other people’s houses.

Estrada was booked into the Grant County Jail for residential burglary.
