FLATHEAD COUNTY, Mont. --- Deputies in Flathead County Montana are searching for a Spokane man last seen in the area on May 4.

Officials said Corey Michael Flannigan, 26, was driving a stolen vehicle that was found crashed in Rose Crossing before he was reported missing. His fiancée posted on Facebook she last spoke with him on May 2 in the Kalispell area.

Flannigan is described as 6’ tall, 190 pounds, with light brown shaved hair and blue eyes.

The car he was driving, a red 2017 Hyundai Elantra, was a rental car Flannigan had kept for too long, officials said.

"There certainly are suspicious circumstances we’re looking into,” Flathead County Sheriff Chuck Curry said. “At this point, we’re not certain he’s truly missing or doesn’t want to be found.”

Search and rescue members are checking the area surrounding the crash site for any leads or evidence.

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office said the case is under investigation.
