CLARKSTON, Wash. — Asotin County Sheriff’s Office said three juveniles were taken into custody after a vandalism at a well-known baseball field in Asotin County known as the “Field of Dream.”
The field was built by volunteers and runs on donations, so the damage done to field is hard for many residents to take.
Volunteer Tony Olerich told KLEW-TV the vandals tore up the sod, damaged the sprinkler system and the club house. He estimated they did about $40,000 in damage all together.
Court documents said a safe that contained two rings, a diamond pendant and two necklaces was also stolen.
