HAYDEN, Idaho – Deputies from the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office arrested Timie G. Lenz, 57, for the 31st time on Monday.

Lenz was arrested for obstructing, felony possession of a controlled substance and destruction of evidence.

Deputies said they were trying to arrest Lisa M. Helvie, 48, for an outstanding drug warrant when they encountered Lenz who is alleged to have obstructed them.

Lenz has been charged with nearly 40 previous misdemeanor and felony crimes since 1999. His prior charges include possession of controlled substances, aggravated battery, open container, driving without privileges, theft, possession of stolen property, providing false information to police, probation violations, harassing telephone calls, DUI, possession of paraphernalia and failure to provide insurance.

Helvie has previously been charged with possession of a controlled substance, petit theft, and driving without privileges.

Both Lenz and Helvie were booked into the Kootenai County Jail and have not yet made their first appearances, according to KCSO.
