Ever wonder what it takes to make a gingerbread house that looks as good as it tastes?

The Denver Museum of Miniatures, Dolls and Toys is holding special workshops for families looking to perfect the art of making the delicious decoration.

The workshops last about an hour and combine graham crackers, candy and icing to make a unique holiday treat.

Workshops will be held December 16 and 23 at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Tickets are $10 per gingerbread house builder, and can be found on Eventbrite or the museum's website. The museum is located at 1880 North Gaylord Street.

Misha Fraser, Program Coordinator at the museum will join 9NEWS at noon on Tuesday to teach us some gingerbread house basics.
