POST FALLS, Idaho --- A fire engulfed two semi-trucks at the Flying J truck stop in Post Falls, Idaho Friday afternoon.
The fire was started in the refrigeration unit of a semi-truck parked at the Post Falls Flying J truck stop. It spread to another semi and the fire destroyed both of them and damaged three other semi-trucks.
The two badly burned trucks were fully engulfed in flames by the time Kootenai County Fire and Rescue arrived before they put it out.
One of the semis was filled with recycled newsprint which is very flammable. Authorities had to take apart the truck with the newsprint in it and put out the fires in each individual bales of newspaper.
No injuries were reported and the fire has been successfully managed.
