SPOKANE, Wash.—Students and staff from an eastern Washington school will get an incredible opportunity this March.

Mead School District will send about 40 students plus staff members to attend the March 14 matinee performance of the musical ‘Hamilton’ in Seattle.

Students will get to take part in a workshop sponsored by the Gilder-Lehman Institute of American History. The institute partnered with the Rockefeller Foundation to create the Hamilton Education Program. According to the website, Title I high schools are invited to see the musical and integrate Alexander Hamilton and the Founding Era into their history studies.
