SPOKANE, Wash. — Monday is eclipse day and the forecast is calling for some great weather for optimal viewing of the eclipse.
National Weather Service Spokane said the forecast will have some thin clouds in the morning, but the coverage will not be anything that interferes with viewing the eclipse.
In the morning, the forecast is expected to be between 50 and 60 degrees leading into warmer temperatures as the day goes on.
The forecast for Spokane calls for sunny skies, with a high near 86 degrees. Also in the forecast are light and variable winds throughout the day.
There have been signs of wildfire smoke coming down from the North as well as near West Montana. For people near these areas, it may result in slightly hazy skies.
