SPOKANE, Wash.-- Spokane Public Schools official Kevin Morrison said there was no threat to Shadle Park High School Tuesday morning.

Reports said a student brought a handgun to the Shadle Park Public Library and showed another student.

Officials with the Spokane Police Department said they received a call that a student received a threat.

Morrison said that a student was not threatened, but had been shown a gun by another student.

SPD officers said they were searching for the armed student in the Shadle area.
