SPOKANE, Wash.—The Spokane Police Department is searching for two armed robbery suspects Wednesday morning.

Officials with SPD said officers responded to a robbery call at the Zip Trip on East Illinois and North Perry around 3:30 a.m. before fleeing the scene.

Reports said the two suspects entered the business, demanded items from the clerk, and left on foot northbound through the parking lot with an undisclosed amount of cash and merchandise.

Law enforcement described the male suspect as about six feet tall and a heavy build. SPD officials said he was wearing a dark jacket and blue jeans.

Authorities described the female suspect as about five feet six inches and a thin build. Reports said she was wearing a light jacket and blue jeans.
