70 degree temperatures in store for next week!

After weeks of wet weather, skies have cleared and temperatures are warming up.

SPOKANE, Wash. -- Spring weather is officially in the forecast for at least the next 10 days as skies have cleared and warmer temperatures have come around the Inland Northwest.

There is a chance for light stormy weather as Saturday morning comes around. A 40 percent chance of showers still lingers, and wind speeds will pick up significantly, but this is only a short hiccup for the forecast. This fast moving system is expected to clear quickly by Saturday afternoon, making way for more warm and dry weather. Temperatures for your weekend are still a bit cold with high temps in the mid 50s.

But, as your work-week begins, skies will clear once again. Forecasts show partly cloudy and sunny skies all of next week, and we may warm up to 70 degree high temperatures by Tuesday. This warm trend is expected to hang over Washington and North Idaho all week.

It will be a great week to get out and enjoy the outdoors, with clear skies and warm temps.
