South Hill residents might get to 'Eat Mor Chikin' with new Chick-fil-A location

4G Development & Consulting, Inc. submitted an application to the city of Spokane to build a drive-thru Chick-fil-A on 29th and Regal St.

SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane's South Hill may soon be home to a new Chick-fil-A location.

4G Development & Consulting, Inc. submitted an application to the city of Spokane to build a drive-thru Chick-fil-A on 29th and Regal Street, across from the KFC and A&W restaurant.

In the application, the company said they plan to demolish existing buildings in its selected lot and create a 4,987-square-foot Chick-fil-A restaurant. The restaurant would include 90 dining room seats, an indoor playground, 16 outdoor seats, two drive-through lanes capable of holding 28 cars and more than 100 parking spaces.

The construction is estimated to cost approximately $3 million.

Proposed South Hill Chick-fil-A site plan.

No permits have been applied for at this time and no construction timeline or opening date has been discussed yet.

Chick-fil-A told KREM 2 News it is interested in more restaurants in the Spokane area but couldn't confirm any locations.

"We are always evaluating potential new locations in the hopes of serving existing and new customers great food with remarkable service," Chick-fila-A, Inc. said in a statement. "We would very much like to have more restaurants in the Spokane area, but we have no new locations to confirm at this time."

The Lilac City's first Chick-fil-A location opened in December 2020 on North Newport Highway. Similar to the proposed South Hill location, the North Spokane location was planned to be 4,833 square feet, with 96 interior seats and 16 patio seats, a playground and a dual order drive-thru lane with capacity for 28 vehicles.
