SPOKANE, Wash.— A new show coming to The Roxie Event Center in Hillyard is bringing a new meaning to dinner and a show.
As part of the Hillyard Revitalization Project, comedian Deece Cassilas and chef Amanda Hillman put on a show that combines cooking and comedy.
The two put on an hour-long comedy show along with an hour-long cooking show.
“We decided to mix it up and create a date night where couples could come out and get a comedy show, get a cooking lesson, and just did something a little different,” said Cassilas.
The show will highlight a new meal and have a new comic with Cassilas on stage Tuesdays every week for six weeks.
The first ten ticket holders throughout the week get a sample of what Hillman is demonstrating.
