Jason Kadah is the meteorologist for KREM2 News First Edition and KREM2 News at Noon, bringing more than 12 years of forecasting experience to the Inland Northwest. Throughout his career, he's forecasted everything from severe storms and tornadoes, to hurricanes and tropical weather, to winter storms. He's worked for television stations in the Rio Grande Valley and El Paso, TX, Fort Myers and Jacksonville, FL, and Little Rock, AR.
Originally from San Jose, CA, Jason received his bachelor's degree in aeronautics from San Jose State University and has been a private pilot for more than 15 years. He obtained his meteorological credentials through Mississippi State University and carries the National Weather Association's Seal of Approval. Growing up, Jason wanted to be an airline pilot, a weatherman, a game show host, or a Neil Diamond impersonator in Vegas Really.
Jason's interests include flying, singing karaoke, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. He enjoys all types of music but Neil Diamond, George Strait, and 80s pop are his favorites. He's also a huge sports nut and closely follows football's San Diego Chargers and hockey's San Jose Sharks (and Spokane Chiefs)!
Jason and his wife Katrina are excited to be in Eastern Washington as they have family in Omak, Wenatchee, and the Methow Valley.
